3XTREME CORRIDORS 2.0 final HERO CHANGES 1. reset all hero names to game default 2. archimonde normal attack range reduced to 550 - balancer 3. shadow hunter intellgence per level bumped from 3 to 3.5, still primary = agility VISUAL CHANGES 1. removed pointless fountain doodad at light side spawn 2. weather effects for each region 3. added message upon victory that results are to be reported to admin desk 4. modified hero selectors to something a bit more interesting 5. small "glhf ^_^" message added upon hero selection 6. doodad spam - "3xtreme lan 5" in fire at bottom right corner (added region + visibility modifier etc) 7. message edit - structure name is now displayed instead of just "a Building" (when a building is destroyed) 8. all heroes face down now - tiny bit more recognisable etc TERRAIN CHANGES 1. tileset changed 2. terrain edit - "Foo" on top left corner 3. terrain edit - bottom left corner now displays "3 corridors" 4. fixed a terrain bug where melee good side units were able to attack the bottom Earth-Fury tower in the bottom corridor (infront of the bottom barracks) - tower is meant to be elevated, and attackable only by ranged units. MISC. CHANGES 1. removed players 5 and 11 2. heroes' extended tooltip and selection region text now fully reflects their abilities 3. Scoreboard! (note that players 5 and 11 are not shown - 4v4 mode) 4. Scoreboard can be hidden or shown at players discretion, with /hidescore and /showscore commands from a chat box (added message when scoreboard spawns as well) 5. adjusted shade stats so it cant fly all over the damn map 6. loading screen changed UNIT CHANGES 1. all offensive units removed from mercenary shop - priest, obsidian statue and shade still remain 2. adjusted remaining mercenary camp unit's food values (priest at 45, statue at 50, shade at 40) 3. healing units (priest and obsidian statue) are not allowed much past each side's respective barracks. once the unit leaves the region defined, they will simply respawn back at their respective owners shop area, with 15% of their mana capacity charged (to prevent farming). 4. towers renamed to generic names (guard tower / heavy guard tower) - makes more sense when text triggered upon destrustion of building RE-RELEASE 1. nuked sleep down from 20/40/60 to 10/20/30 (thx to Epi and Forticus for pointing this out) 2. fixed shades food usage to 40 (was meant to be done in pre-lan release) 3. cleaned up scoreboard creation, array manipulation and sorting code via use of player groups, cutting out ~100 lines of triggering code 4. cleared out old triggers, should make scoreboard much more efficient (though wont reduce loading time by much, if any) 5. added special effect to priest death when it leaves the allowed healer area 6. added small message that "healers may not leave the base area, your unit has respawned at base" when player tries to move a unit past the allowed boundary. 7. added dragon unit in base - does nothing, gives no experience, purely visual 8. thanked playtesters (Hex, MiniWalks, Psynapse, Shimma, Thor and Vanguard) Thanks to: Original map created by: IntuitioN Special Thanks to: DeMoNiC_HorDeS (check out the LE developments @ www.mysticshrine.tk) Thanks also to: ilPAL and ZigZagEr Special Mentions: - D’vorjakque (trigger tute on maps.worldofwar.net) - Hex, Maddog, MiniWalks, Psynapse, Shimma, Thor, TmyG and Vanguard for being playtesting monkeys ;) - Manny, Epi, Diablo, Forticus, Xitation and members of clan teh for their respective inputs - All the attendees and admins of 3xtreme lan 5 Creators spiel: Hi guys and girls, Foo here. What i wanted to create in this map is a more team-orientated, no bs items corridors map, suitable for a lan tournament (namely the 3xteme Lan 5 corridors comp). As such, farming has been nuked, there are no more bs items anymore (ie the aura items), making teamwork much more important. This text file is a 99% complete log / list / whatever of everything ive done to the base map (thanks once again to the guys @ mysticshrine.tk for letting me use theirs as a base), anything left over is just a random visual thing. This is the most balanced, bug free map i have ever had a hand in, leaving victory in the hands of the team.
